It is made from a variety of Australian timbers which are labelled on the bottom of the box together with the Gems of the Forest label.
This is a unique piece of Australiana and would look good on a desk, bedside table, buffet, table etc and would be a talking piece.
It is a vintage piece which has been well looked after as the photos attest.
