This forest-green zip-front jacket is an authentic piece of Melbourne transport history from the Metropolitan Transit Authority (“The Met”) era, when trams, trains and buses were unified under the iconic green branding. These heavier jackets were issued to conductors, inspectors and station staff for warmth and practicality and are now increasingly sought after by collectors, historians and costume departments.
