At Vintage HQ, we take great care in packing and shipping our vintage and pre-loved items to ensure they arrive safely. As many of our pieces are one-of-a-kind and fragile, handling and packing are done thoughtfully and securely.


Order Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of receiving cleared payment

  • Dispatch times may be slightly longer during peak periods or for particularly fragile or oversized items

  • You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped


Shipping Locations

We currently ship to:

  • Australia

  • International destinations (where available)

If your country is not listed at checkout, please contact us prior to purchasing.


Shipping Methods & Carriers

We use trusted carriers such as:

  • Australia Post

  • Courier services (for larger or heavier items)

Shipping method selection depends on the size, weight, and fragility of the item.


Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight, size, and destination

  • For oversized or bulky items, additional shipping charges may apply

  • Combined shipping may be available for multiple purchases — please contact us before ordering


Packaging of Vintage Items

Due to the nature of vintage and pre-loved goods:

  • Items are packed securely using protective materials

  • Recycled or reused packaging materials may be used where appropriate

  • This approach supports sustainability while ensuring item safety


Tracking & Delivery

  • Tracking details will be provided where available

  • Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or customs processing

  • Vintage HQ is not responsible for delays once an item has been dispatched


International Orders & Customs

For international orders:

  • Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import charges

  • These costs are not included in the item price or shipping fee

  • Delays caused by customs are outside our control


Lost or Delayed Parcels

If your parcel appears delayed or lost:

  • Please contact us as soon as possible

  • We will assist in lodging enquiries with the carrier

  • Refunds or replacements are assessed on a case-by-case basis


Damaged Items in Transit

If your item arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide clear photos of:

    • The item

    • The packaging

    • The shipping label

We will work with you to resolve the issue in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy.


Incorrect Address

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout.

  • Vintage HQ is not responsible for orders sent to incorrectly provided addresses

  • Re-shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer


Click & Collect (if applicable)

If Click & Collect is offered:

  • Collection details will be provided after purchase

  • Items must be collected within an agreed timeframe
