Mini Story or Hook

A charming piece of early-1960s children’s publishing, Ann and Peter in Paris follows the young Kennedys on an adventure through Paris as part of Barbara Ker Wilson’s The Kennedys Abroad series.

Published by Frederick Muller in 1963, this first edition combines travel, mystery and adventure with illustrations by Harry and Ilse Toothill. The period dust-jacket artwork, featuring Ann and Peter against a distinctly Parisian backdrop with the Eiffel Tower in the distance, gives the book plenty of nostalgic appeal.

An attractive survivor from the golden age of post-war children’s travel adventures, particularly desirable with its original illustrated dust jacket still present.
