A fascinating and particularly well-provenanced piece of Ansett and Australian aviation history, comprising the original dinner programme/menu and personally named invitation for the 10th Annual Dinner of the Ansett Transport Industries 25 Year Service Club, held in Melbourne on 25 November 1972.

The formal invitation was issued in the name of Sir Reginald Ansett, K.B.E., Chairman and Managing Director of Ansett Transport Industries Limited, inviting the named recipient to attend the dinner in the C. J. Dennis Room at the Old Melbourne Motor Inn in North Melbourne.

Of particular interest is the provenance of this group. The identity of the original invitee is known to Vintage HQ, as is the invitee’s association with Sir Reginald Ansett.
