The ornate case, with its flowing scrollwork and decorative crest, reflects the popular style of the period and was designed to bring both function and visual presence to the home. Presented in good vintage condition consistent with age.

The case has been carefully cleaned and waxed, resulting in a rich, even tone that highlights the ornate detailing. It shows typical age-related wear including small marks, minor surface imperfections, and some evidence of age and prior handling. As is common with clocks of this type, the finish may have been refreshed at some point in its life, however it presents well overall.

The dial displays noticeable age-related crazing and patina, consistent with its age, and retains its original character. The glass door is intact with decorative etching.
