Mini Story or Hook

A wonderfully evocative early James Bond hardcover from 1960, published during Ian Fleming’s lifetime and at the height of the original Bond literary era.

For Your Eyes Only was Fleming’s eighth Bond book and brought together five shorter adventures taking 007 from Cold War intrigue and assassination plots to smuggling, revenge and danger in the Caribbean.

Particularly appealing is the surviving period dust jacket, with its striking illustrated eyes and bold black-and-gold typography — a classic piece of early Bond publishing design.
