Mini Story or Hook

A charming original oil painting by Ian W. Hamilton, titled Enjoying Springtime and dated 2015.

The work captures a wonderfully nostalgic garden moment: a woman in a white dress pauses beside a mass of spring blossom at the entrance to a traditional home. Hamilton uses loose, impressionistic brushwork and a warm palette of pinks, mauves, ochres and greens to create a peaceful scene filled with colour and atmosphere.

The painting is presented in a substantial ornate gilt-finish frame, which complements its traditional garden subject beautifully. The reverse retains the artist’s handwritten details identifying the work as Enjoying Springtime, oil, 2015, by Ian W. Hamilton.

An attractive decorative original for a period, traditional or country-style interior.
