The detailed engraving-style illustration is complemented by traditional muted colours and an elaborate floral border, giving the plate the quintessential English country charm for which the Friendly Village pattern is known.

A particularly attractive seasonal piece for a Johnson Brothers collector, Christmas table setting or festive display.

Note: The “England 1883” appearing on the backstamp refers to the historical founding date associated with Johnson Brothers and is not the manufacture date of this plate.
