Mini Story or Hook

An evocative original Australian landscape by established South Australian artist Lyn Robins, titled Near the “Mount”.

Depicting a rural scene in South East South Australia, the work features a weathered corrugated-iron farm building surrounded by dry grass, old fencing and scattered gums beneath an expansive pale sky. Loose, expressive brushwork and a restrained palette of ochres, creams, blues and earthy tones beautifully capture the distinctive atmosphere of the Australian countryside.

Importantly, the reverse retains the artist’s handwritten identification, including the title “Near the ‘Mount’ – South East: Sth. Aust.”, together with the name Lyn Robins and her Tranmere, South Australia address.

A characterful and distinctly Australian original artwork with excellent identification directly to the reverse.
