This exceptional Moorcroft “Orchid” pattern vase represents one of the most admired designs created by William Moorcroft, founder of Moorcroft art pottery. Produced during the Walter Moorcroft era in the highly sought-after transitional period of the late 1930s to early 1940s, the vase bears the Royal Warrant wording “Potter to the Queen” and the hand-painted “W. Moorcroft” signature.
