Newmans Chocolates was a well-known Melbourne confectionery retailer, with a presence on Collins Street by at least 1936, along with other prominent CBD locations including Elizabeth and Flinders Streets. Renowned for its “mastermade” chocolates, Newmans represents a time when local confectioners were central to city life—offering handcrafted treats in beautifully designed packaging such as this.
