A fantastic piece of early-1980s portable audio design, the Philips D8623 Stereo Sound Machine comes from the golden era of the large-format stereo boombox.
With its substantial stereo speaker arrangement, analogue tuner, extensive controls and distinctive component-style layout, the D8623 has fantastic period presence and would make a great addition to a vintage audio, boombox or 1980s collection.
Best of all, the radio has been tested and sounds great, producing strong, enjoyable sound through its stereo speakers.
Please note that while the radio is working well, the cassette/tape deck is not working and will require servicing or repair. No attempt has been made to diagnose the cassette fault.

* Displays age-related marks, spotting, surface wear and oxidation consistent with age and use.
* As a vintage electronic item, it is being sold in its current condition with the cassette fault clearly disclosed.
