Royal Doulton Billie & Buntie Bunnykins Sleigh Ride DB81 – 1989 Special Events

Billie and Buntie are bundled together for a joyful winter adventure in this charming Royal Doulton Sleigh Ride Bunnykins figurine. Seated back-to-back on a bright red sleigh, the pair wear colourful yellow and green clothing with matching red scarves as they glide across the painted snow.

Model DB81 is the second colourway of the earlier Sleigh Ride design. It was produced for the Royal Doulton Special Events Tour in 1989 and issued only that year, making it a more distinctive Bunnykins variation. The design is attributed to Walter Hayward and the modelling to Albert Hallam. 

A cheerful and colourful piece that would sit beautifully among other Bunnykins figurines, Christmas collectables or classic Royal Doulton ceramics.
