Silver Plated Basket - Rhine-Gold by Paramount Australia

For sale is a Rhine Gold by Paramount silver plated basket.

The piece was manufactured by KG Luke Pty Ltd in the mid 1900s at their Queens Parade, Fitzroy North factory.

KG Luke was established in the 1920s and operated until the 1980s when it was acquired by National Consolidated Limited.

Sir Kenneth George Luke, the founder of KG Luke, was a former President of the Carlton Football Club, and the President of the VFL.

A lovely piece of Victoria silver plate history. Piece is approx 11 cm tall, 15 cm wide and 3cm tall from base to rim.

Some tarnish/wear to side of the bowl.

Has a base stamp of Rhine Gold by Paramount reproduction silver on copper.
