A wonderfully characterful vintage doctor’s bag with the classic wide-opening framed construction associated with traditional Gladstone and medical bags.

Dating approximately from the 1930s–1950s, the bag features a rich dark brown crocodile-effect embossed exterior, substantial metal frame, central lock fitting and a traditional leather-covered carry handle. Opening the hinged frame reveals a generously sized fabric-lined interior.

Decades of genuine use have given the bag a wonderfully aged appearance, with wear to the handle, edges and fittings adding to its authentic vintage character.

A great decorative piece for a vintage interior, period display, photographic or theatrical prop, or an interesting addition to a collection of early luggage and travel accessories.
