A wonderful survivor from the golden age of ten-pin bowling.
This complete Brunswick outfit includes an undrilled Mixer II bowling ball, original Brunswick bag, bowling shoes and accompanying Brunswick Lifetime Guarantee certificate. The ball remains in remarkable original condition, having never been drilled for finger holes, suggesting it was either never used or only displayed and carefully stored for decades.
With its striking red and black marbled finish and matching red Brunswick bag, this set captures the style and optimism of the bowling boom that swept Australia and North America during the late 1960s and early 1970s.
An excellent display piece for collectors of vintage sporting memorabilia, bowling enthusiasts, games room décor, or anyone with an appreciation for mid-century leisure culture.
Condition
Presented in vintage pre-owned condition.
The bowling ball remains undrilled and displays well with minor age-related storage marks. The bag shows expected wear, scuffs and age-related discolouration consistent with decades of storage. The shoes show light wear and ageing. The guarantee certificate is included and displays age-related handling wear.
