Mini Story or Hook

A wonderfully expressive vintage hand-carved wooden sculpture depicting two elongated figures sharing a kiss.

The sculptor has used graceful, flowing forms to create the couple, with their elongated bodies rising together from the base before their faces meet at the top. The open space between the figures adds to the elegant modernist appearance and gives the sculpture a particularly attractive silhouette.

Standing approximately 35 cm tall, it is a substantial decorative piece with plenty of presence for a sideboard, bookshelf, console or Mid-Century inspired interior.

Importantly, the underside retains its original stamp reading “Guaranteed Genuine Hand Crafted & Kiln Dried Product”, confirming its original description as a genuine handcrafted timber product.

A charming vintage piece celebrating love and companionship, and an appealing decorative sculpture for collectors of hand-carved wooden objects, modernist décor and romantic figurative art.
