Mini Story or Hook

A classic vintage Husqvarna 5310 sewing machine, complete with its case, foot controller and original instruction manual.

With its distinctive cream and brown finish, integrated carry handle and unmistakably retro Scandinavian styling, this is a particularly appealing example for the vintage sewing-machine enthusiast.

The inclusion of the case and original manual makes this a more complete survivor. The machine presents well cosmetically but currently has an electrical fault, making it an ideal candidate for repair or restoration.

Condition

Condition: For parts or not working – see detailed notes below.

This is a vintage, pre-owned Husqvarna sewing machine which presents reasonably well cosmetically for its age.

* Machine is accompanied by its case, foot controller and original instruction manual.

* The machine powers up but has an electrical fault.

* When connected to mains power, the motor immediately begins running without the foot controller being operated.

* This also occurs when the foot controller is completely disconnected from the machine.

* We have not opened the machine or attempted to diagnose or repair the fault.

* No further operational testing has been undertaken.

* Case and manual show expected age and storage wear.

* Machine shows normal marks and signs of previous use consistent with its vintage age.

* Sold strictly as-is for repair, restoration or parts.

* Due to the identified electrical fault, the machine should be inspected/repaired by a suitably qualified person before being connected to mains electricity again.
