A fabulous piece of vintage American glassware by Indiana Glass, featuring the company’s highly recognisable Diamond Point pattern.
The clear pressed glass produces a brilliant cut-crystal effect, while the deep ruby-red band around the bowl gives the piece a particularly striking appearance. Standing approximately 30 cm tall with its matching domed lid and pointed finial, it has considerably more presence than the smaller Diamond Point candy dishes commonly encountered.
Produced in the USA, Indiana Glass became particularly well known for its extensive range of decorative and practical pressed glassware, with Diamond Point becoming one of its enduring vintage patterns.
