Mini Story or Hook

A wonderfully characterful vintage brooch by British jewellery maker Miracle, renowned for its Celtic and Scottish Revival costume jewellery.

The circular design combines intricate Celtic-style knotwork with striking green and black banded glass designed to resemble malachite or traditional Scottish agate. A domed green cabochon forms the centrepiece, surrounded by alternating decorative metal panels and shaped green glass sections.

The antiqued silver-tone finish gives the brooch plenty of vintage character and contrasts beautifully with the vivid green glass.

Condition

Vintage/pre-owned condition with faults – please read carefully.

The brooch displays general surface wear, patina, oxidation and marks consistent with age and previous use.

Two of the shaped green glass sections around the outer part of the brooch are missing. The vacant settings can be clearly seen in the photographs.

The central green glass cabochon and remaining outer green glass sections are present.

The pin and fitting remain attached to the reverse.
