Vintage RAF Flying Review – March 1962

A fantastic piece of early-1960s aviation history, this March 1962 issue of Royal Air Force Flying Review captures an extraordinary period when jet technology, Cold War aviation and experimental vertical take-off aircraft were rapidly reshaping military flight.

The striking cover leads with “VTOL–1962: Detailed Exclusive Survey”, alongside features on the T-39, the wartime saga of Hansson Jukka, and Alone Over France.
