Vintage Royal Doulton Dollie Bunnykins “Playtime” DB8 Figurine with Box

A delightful vintage Royal Doulton Bunnykins figurine depicting a Bunnykins sharing a playful dance with a young doll dressed in blue.

Known as “Playtime”, this charming DB8 design captures a warm and nostalgic childhood scene. Dollie wears a beautifully detailed white dress decorated with hand-painted pink flowers, complete with a sculpted bow at the back, while the young girl’s softly shaded blue dress adds a lovely contrast.

The design was created by Walter Hayward and modelled by Albert Hallam. This original blue-dress DB8 variation was produced between 1972 and 1993 and has become an appealing piece for established Bunnykins collectors and admirers of vintage English ceramics.

It is accompanied by the Royal Doulton Bunnykins box shown in the photographs.
