Mini Story or Hook
A particularly charming matching vintage tea set by renowned English pottery maker Sadler, featuring the distinctive No. 2058 design.
The set comprises a classic cube-style teapot and matching covered sugar bowl, both finished in a soft powder-blue glaze and decorated with delicate bluebell-style floral sprays in blue, green and orange.
Silver lustre detailing to the handles, spout, rims and lid finials gives the set an elegant period finish and contrasts beautifully against the pale blue ground.
The 2058 number is hand-painted to the base, while the teapot carries the Sadler – Made in England backstamp. While this floral decoration is commonly described as a bluebell design, we have not established “Bluebells” as an official Sadler factory pattern name.
Finding the teapot together with its matching covered sugar bowl makes this a lovely display set for collectors of Sadler pottery, vintage English teaware and mid-century ceramics.
