Mini Story

An early English-made Stanley No. 151 spokeshave, produced after Stanley established manufacturing in Sheffield from 1937, following the acquisition of J.A. Chapman.

This example represents the first generation of UK Stanley spokeshaves, made to a high standard before later post-war simplification. It retains its original transfer decal and has been lightly cleaned only, preserving original patina while remaining fully functional.

A quality vintage hand tool suited equally to a working woodworker or a traditional tool collection.
