About:

This beautifully proportioned vintage studio pottery casserole reflects the earthy, functional aesthetic that defined studio ceramics of the late 20th century. 

Finished in a rich iron-brown glaze with darker reduction tones around the body, it was clearly made to be both useful and visually grounding, and to reflect a grounded, natural aesthetic which is inspired by traditional craft and functional domestic pottery.

The softly domed lid with concentric-ring knop adds a subtle tactile detail, while the compact size makes it perfect for serving, baking, or display.
