Mini Story or Hook
A particularly decorative piece of vintage English Wedgwood, this Chinese Teal coffee pot combines a traditional moulded Wedgwood form with colourful chinoiserie decoration.
The design features flowering branches, foliage, a stylised bird and distinctive deep blue rockwork picked out against the crisp white body. The sweeping handle and elongated spout give the pot an especially elegant profile.
Chinese Teal is a discontinued Wedgwood pattern and individual serving pieces are increasingly sought after by collectors completing existing services. Specialist replacement inventories currently identify both the coffee pot and its lid as discontinued pieces.
A lovely functional vintage table piece in its own right, and equally attractive displayed in a china cabinet or alongside other Wedgwood.
